BOICI - the golf day you deserve
What it’s all about
The BOICI Golf Day is an annual charity tournament that brings together the local building industry for a day of golf, networking, and community support all while raising funds for Oromahoe School.
Hosted at the Kerikeri Golf Club, the event attracts builders, tradies, and suppliers from across the Far North. Teams of four compete in Ambrose format, with each hole sponsored by a local business. Sponsors often host a fun game or activity on their hole, creating a relaxed, social atmosphere that makes this one of the most anticipated days on the local calendar.
With over $10,000 in prizes, a $50,000 ute up for grabs for a hole-in-one, and a charity auction to close out the day, the event offers outstanding exposure and genuine connection with the local trade community.
The BOICI isn’t just about marketing - it’s about supporting our local school, strengthening industry relationships, and being part of a great day that gives back to the community.
A 3 fold approach
We feel that it’s essential that everyone involved gets something out of the day.
For the builders - top quality entertainment, golf and a few drinks at a great price. Plus a huge prize table. And the chance to network with like minded people from their industry.
For the sponsors - the opportunity to create/foster relationships with 18+ different building companies in one day. The value for money is proven with the number of repeat sponsors each year.
For Oromahoe School - a large donation without using any school resources. James Welch from Baywood Flooring takes care of the whole tournament in his own time.
